WHO WE ARE
WeSurf was founded by Gerald Álvarez, a former Chilean competitive surfer with over 20 years of experience. As a Physical Education teacher and professional coach, he combines technical expertise with high-level competitive insight.
He served as Head Coach of Team Chile (2021–2025) and worked with the USA Junior Surf Team as an aerials coach. His approach focuses on clarity, adaptability, and performance.

Our Methodology
BUILDING COMPLETE ATHLETES
“At WeSurf Coaching, we develop surfers through a structured coaching methodology that combines technical development, personalized video analysis, performance tracking, and competition-based training.
Our coaching is supported by a dedicated athlete platform, where surfers can upload videos, receive personalized feedback, track training sessions and competitions, monitor performance statistics, and follow their long-term progression. Whether training in person or remotely, this centralized system keeps athletes connected, organized, and accountable throughout their development.”
